I stumbled on this piece of software around five months ago and have been thinking about it on and off since. Power Game Factory, by Sawblade Software, is a program that allows Game creation with no programming experience needed. It’s a pretty cool concept. I think that every kid who has played enjoyed videogames as a pastime has thought how cool it would be to make his/her own game. So when I saw this software I immediately started thinking of what type of game I would make… Still haven’t come up with anything good but I’d like to try out the software just the same.

On one hand, I really like the idea of creating a homebrew game that my friends could play. On the other hand, there’s a certain amount of egotism involved with creating your own game. Who am I to think that I can create the graphics/animations/sounds/music/plot of a game on my own?

Just thought I’d give you a look at the newest addition to my “want” list (it’s ever-expanding).
